The certificate to the medal is a document handed to the person awarded with the medal. The document contains a provision on the medal, it is indicated who is awarded, the procedure for wearing the medal, placement on the medal plate , the procedure for storing the medal after the death of the awarded. The certificate has a serial number and is printed on paper containing watermarks.
Initially, medals were entered into general certificates (like order books ), where fields for several awards were provided. Later they began to issue certificates for each individual medal.
