Memoirs of James St. James about his life in Manhattan and the Club Kids group. The book became the biography of Michael Elig , it shows his path to fame and how he killed his Club Angel counterpart Melendes. St. James was a mentor to Elig; he gives a very personal look at the events taking place in the book. Memoirs were later renamed to Party Monster (in Russian translation Club Mania ), after the release of the film with the same name, starring Macaulay Culkin , Seth Green , Chloe Sevigny and Marilyn Manson .

Michael Elig was a member of the notorious Club Kids group, a group of young clubbers led by Elig in the late 80s and early 90s. In 1996, Elig was convicted of the murder of Andre "Angel" Melendez.
DJ Keoki
Electronic music superstar DJ Keoki, born in El Salvador, grew up in Hawaii. Ironically, he has no experience working as a DJ when he was under the name Superstar DJ Keoki. He was a boyfriend of Michael Elig.

Andre Melendez
Andre Melendez, better known as the “Angel” Melendez, was a Club Kids member and drug dealer, lived and worked in New York . Melendez and his family came to New York from Colombia when Melendez was eight years old. Melendez became a drug dealer in the early 90s after meeting with Peter Gatien, owner of Lyme Light Club in New York. Melendez became the next dealer Gatien in clubs. He is often seen in Manhattan clubs wearing his trademark - wings.
