The silver carp is a flock of medium-sized freshwater fish. The body is tall, covered with small silver scales of light color. It feeds on microscopic algae - phytoplankton; therefore, this fish is an excellent reclamator of water bodies. With the help of its filtering mouth apparatus, the white silver carp filters the flowered, green and muddy water from detritus. Therefore, it is sometimes launched into the reservoir as an addition to the filtration system, making the water clean and transparent. It is widely used in commercial fish farming , as polyculture.
As for size, the species is medium-sized fish, so you can keep it in not very large ponds.
One of the Ural artists said that he personally shot a silver carp weighing about 40 kg in a spearfishing in July 2011 in the reservoir of the Reftinskaya TPP [9] .
