“Gold Camera” ( fr. Caméra d'or ) - Cannes Film Festival award for the best debut feature film , presented in one of the three programs of the festival (main competition program, “Two Week Directors” or “Criticism Week”). Awarded since 1978 by an independent jury. Sometimes, according to the decision of the jury, the film that is not awarded the Golden Camera prize is awarded a special prize-diploma “Golden Camera” - a special mention ”(the last time the award was presented in 2009).
