Founded on July 20, 1946 by Evgeny Romanov , a member of the leadership of the People’s Labor Union of Russian Solidarians (NTS) and other representatives of the second emigration, who came to Germany from the Soviet Union during World War II .
Officially, the "Edge" has never been the body of the NTS, but always associated with it.
Until 1991, the magazine was published in Frankfurt am Main ( Germany ) in Russian, then the editorial staff moved to Moscow .
In 1992, the circulation of the journal was 10,000 copies, but in 1993 it dropped to 3,000 pieces. In 1996, the publishing house " Posev " ceased publication of the magazine, and Tatyana Zhilkina became the publisher. In 2000, the magazine was issued in circulation of 750 copies [1] .
