Bolotovo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Glinkovsky district . Population - 14 inhabitants (2007) [1] Located in the central part of the region, 6 km west of the village of Glinka , 16 km north of the P96 road Novoaleksandrovsky (A101) - Spas-Demensk - Yelnya - Pochinok . 1.5 km north of the village is the railway station Klokovo on the Smolensk - Sukhinichi line . It is part of the Belokholmsky rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by the Nazi troops in July 1941 . Released during the Yelninsko-Dorogobuzh operation in 1943 . [2] [3] .
