Queensland Liberal National Party (LNP) is a political party in Queensland , Australia . It was formed on July 26, 2008 as a result of the merger of the local branches of the Liberal and National Parties of Australia .

State Politics
Before the 2012 Queensland Parliamentary election, the party formed opposition, gaining 34 seats in the 2009 election.
In the 2012 election, she won, gaining 78 out of 89 seats, and formed the state government, led by her leader Campbell Newman.
Federal level
Included in a coalition with the Liberal and National Parties.
In 2010 , with more than a million votes, the party received 21 seats in the Australian parliament .
In the 2013 elections , she improved the result, gaining 22 seats.
The Senate has 6 seats.
