Born on August 12, 1966 in Pyatigorsk .

In 1989 he graduated from the Vladikavkaz art school (design department).

From 1989 to 1991, he studied at the Faculty of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts .

In 1996, he graduated from the VGIK (Studio of Documentary Film and TV Film by Viktor Lisakovich).
