History

Formed on April 4, 1919 in the city of Kazan , took part in military operations of the Civil War.

On August 22, 1919, the 1st Marine Rifle Brigade (brigade S. D. Pavlov) of the 35th Rifle Division and the Proletarian Cavalry Regiment named after Stepan Razin under the command of A. E. Kartashov freed Kartaly from Kolchak and restored Soviet power in the region.

The division of the 5th Army of the Red Army participated in the campaign to the East, fought against the White Guard units of General Ungern in Mongolia.

In August 1929, it became part of the Special Far Eastern Army of the Red Army, from November 17 to December 22, 1929 it participated in the hostilities on the Sino-Eastern Railway . Together with the 36th Rifle Division, the Red Army participated in the assault on the Zhaylanor fortified area.

After the end of hostilities on the CER, the 105th Leningrad Infantry Regiment of the 35th Infantry Division of the Red Army was awarded the Order of the Red Banner , 9 commanders of the 105th Infantry Regiment were awarded with registered weapons [1]

As of June 22, 1941, it was deployed in Bikin ( Khabarovsk Territory ), did not participate in the Great Patriotic War.
