Mulinhe ( Mulin ) is a river in the north-east of the People's Republic of China ( Heilongjiang Province ), the largest left tributary of the Ussuri .

The sources of Mulin are located on the slopes of the Mulinvotszilin mountain range , in the upper reaches the river is mountainous , in the middle and lower reaches it is flat , flows along the Prikhankaiskaya lowland . The banks in the lower reaches are mostly gentle, often marshy , the current is slow and breaks up into branches [1] .
It flows into the Ussuri River near the border of the PRC and Russia , south of the mouth of Bolshoi Ussurka and Dalnerechensk , and causes a lot of silt .
Length 577 km, basin area 18.5 thousand km². [2]
In the upper reaches is the city of Jixi , famous for coal mining . In the lower reaches is Hulin .
The interfluve of Mulinhe and Mudanjiang is also known for the battles and defeat of the Kwantung Army . [3] Prior to this, the Soviet-Chinese conflict on the CER (1929) took place in the region of the river. [four]
