Nur Hassan Hussein , also known as Nur Adde (born February 16, 1937), is the Prime Minister of Somalia from November 24, 2007 to February 14, 2009 .

He began his career as a customs officer in 1958, two years before Somalia's independence.
After receiving a law degree from the National University of Mogadishu and the Faculty of Finance and Law in Rome, he became Attorney General, and held this position until 1991 . After that, he headed the Somali Red Cross Society for several years.
On November 22, 2007, President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed introduced his candidacy for the post of Prime Minister after the resignation of Ali Mohammed Gedi .
On September 1, 2008, the Somali parliament voted to resign Nur Hassan Hussein.
