Lunar Precursor Robotic Program ( LPRP , English preliminary program for the study of the Moon by automata ) - NASA 's lunar program for sending lunar AMCs that will prepare for future manned missions to the moon [1] . Under the LPRP program, two launches of the AMC were carried out, the first of which on June 23, 2009 [2] reached the moon:
- Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter ( LRO , Lunar Probe)
- Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite ( LCROSS , Satellite for observing and measuring lunar craters).
