Radio reconnaissance and passive location station (SRTR) “Valeria” is a means of reconnaissance and passive location of air targets and directors of active interference from radiation of their electronic means.
The SRTR is in service with the radio intelligence services of the General Staff and the types of the Armed Forces of Russia , and the air forces of the Russian Air Force .
It is used, inter alia, to support means of fighter aircraft and medium and long-range anti-aircraft missile systems in difficult interference conditions, as well as the use of high-precision weapons and anti-radar missiles by the enemy.
In 2005 , Lantan OJSC carried out work on the creation of a radar interspecies multi-positional complex RTR Valeria-E (export version) and a radar with a phased annular array . [1] OJSC Lantan is currently undergoing the process of incorporation into the structure of the Almaz-Antey Air Defense Concern .
