Ilyinichi ( Polish: Iliniczowie ) - a gentry clan of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the coat of arms “ Korczak ” of the 15th-16th centuries

According to the most common version, it originates from the Orthodox boyars of the Seversky land . The founder of the clan was Ivashko Ilyinich . In 1555, the successor of the clan, Yuri Ilinich, was granted the title of Count of the Holy Roman Empire "on Peace ".

The clan crossed the male line around 1569, after which all its possessions, including the famous Mir Castle , passed to the Radziwills . The Ilinichi clan, known from the second half of the XVII century in the Mstislavsky region and existing to this day, has a different origin [1] .

Family

  • Ivashko Ilyinich - the first known representative of the clan, from 1482 the governor of Vitebsk, in 1487 - 1489 the governor of Grand Duke Casimir in Smolensk (received his post as a reward for saving the life of the monarch in battle). He was elevated to the knighthood with the presentation of the family coat of arms .
  • Nicholas (c. 1470 - after 1500) - Viceroy of Minsk in 1494-1498, marshal of the yard Lithuanian and Viceroy of Smolensk in 1499-1500.
  • Nikolai (d. Approx. 1540 [1] ) - did not hold high posts, led a wild life and squandered a substantial part of his father’s inheritance [1] .

  • Yuri (d. 1526) - the marshal gospodar in 1501-1519, the headman of Lida (1501-1502, 1507-1524) and Brest (1510-1524), the coven (1514, 1519-1523), the marshal yard (1519-1526). Settles in the World after the death of his father in 1495. Member of the campaign in Moldova during the Polish-Turkish war. Around 1510, begins the construction of Mir Castle [1] .
  • Jan (c. 1495-1536) - as a result of the division of his father's inheritance, he received at his disposal all family possessions, with the exception of Mir Castle.
  • Stanislav (c. 1500-1531) - owned the World since 1526, according to popular rumors, the cause of death was poisoning.
  • Schasny (c. 1505-1542) - owned Zelva , taken from him in 1528 for debts. Since 1531 he owned the World. He was married to Sofya Yanovna Radziwill . Having survived the brothers, he concentrated in his hands all the possessions of the clan [1] .
  • Yuri Schastnovich (c. 1535 - c. 1569) - the last man of the kind. After the death of his father, he was under the care of Nicholas Radziwill the Black , who was sent to serve in the imperial court of Archduke Karl of Austria. In 1555 he received the count title. I have not been married. When dying, he bequeaths all his possessions to Nikolai Radziwill Sirotka , the son of his guardian.
