Michael Schumacher , the current holder of the record for victories in Formula 1.

Formula 1 , abbreviated F-1, is the highest level of open-wheel motorsport , a world series controlled by the International Motorsport Federation (FIA), the main regulatory body of motorsport [1] . The word "Formula" in the name means a set of rules that the cars of all participants must comply with. The season of the Formula 1 championship consists of a series of races known as the Grand Prix , usually held on specially constructed tracks . In addition, some of the races take place on fenced city streets. The most famous Grand Prix is the Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo [2] .
