Biography

Pantelic is known for having replaced 11 clubs from 8 different countries during his career, having managed to play in Greece, France, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Serbia, Germany and Holland.

After the 2008/09 season, Marco left the Hertha Berlin, for which he scored 45 goals for 4 seasons in the Bundesliga, and until September 2009 remained without a club until he finally transferred to Ajax in Amsterdam .

In Ajax, Marco made a striking pair of forwards with young Uruguayan Luis Suarez , with whom they scored 51 goals in 34 games in the Netherlands 2009/10 team for 35 (35 - Suarez, 16 - Pantelic). In the next season, this pair was no longer in Ajax - Suarez moved to Liverpool, and Pantelich was in the Greek Olympiacos . Marco returned to Greece 13 years after his performances for Iraklis at the dawn of his career.

Team Career

At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Marco scored his only goal against Australia, but the Serbian team still lost 1: 2 and failed to leave the group, taking in the last place.
