Geography
Located 5 km from the railway station Bulboaca station and at the junction of the Chisinau - Bender and Chisinau - Causeni motorways.
History
Anenii Noi was first mentioned on June 27, 1731 under the name Pashkan-pe-Bull ( Mold. Paşcani pe Bîc ). In 1856, the estate was leased to the Turkish merchant Husan Bey, who also owns a rural inn . After the Tatars left Bessarabia, the village almost died out, however, in 1883, peasants from neighboring villages moved here and were engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding. In 1889, several families of German colonists from the Kherson province bought 1715 acres of land and founded the village of Tsyntsareni ( Mold. Ţînţăreni , Tsyntseren). The census of 1910 indicates that two villages were located on the site of Tsyntseren - the German New Nikolaevka (Nicolaevca Nouă) and the Russian Old Nikolayevka (Nicolaevca Veche), each of which had a church and a school. Low-land residents of the Russian village worked on the construction of houses in the German village. Orthodox Moldavians and Russians attended a church in the village of Bulboaka . In the early days of January 1926, New Nikolaevka was renamed New Aneny, and Old Nikolaevka to Old Aneny. In 1940, the Germans left for Germany, leaving 106 households with 120 houses, 1,713 hectares of arable land.
In 1965, the New Anenas were given the status of an urban-type settlement. A canning factory worked in Novye Aneny (for processing vegetables, fruits and making grape juice), during the time of the MSSR a bakery, a feed mill and a building materials factory worked, and an incubator station functioned.
