Located on the western shore of Lake Karmalonjärvi and the northern coast of Lake Humpelenjärvi, 5 km west of Sortavala .
The object of architecture is a residential building of the late XIX century.
The historical monument is the mass grave of Soviet soldiers who died during the Soviet-Finnish War (1941-1944) .
