“Two Absolutes” ( Kit. Ex . 两个 凡是 , Pinyin : Liǎng gè fán shì , Pall .: Lyanghe Fanshi ) is a political principle of the last period of the “cultural revolution” in China , based on the slogan “Absolutely all decisions made by Chairman Mao Zedong , we must bravely defend, absolutely all the instructions given by Chairman Mao Zedong, we must consistently observe ” [1] ( Kit. This provision was included in the program document "Learn the sources and comprehend the main thing" , published on February 7, 1977 in the central newspaper, People's Journal, in the magazine " Hongqi " ("Red flag") and in the central army newspaper " Tszefantszyun bao ".
The slogan was taken as the basis of the CCP chairman Hua Guofeng , a follower of Mao, who stopped the Cultural Revolution and arrested the "gang of four" . The slogan was unpopular abroad and among those Chinese politicians who sought to carry out market reforms, such as Deng Xiaoping .
