Badminton
According to the results of qualification competitions, Taiwan put one athlete in the men's and women's singles, as well as one pair in the women's doubles.
Baseball
The Taiwanese national team took third place at the 2007 Asian Baseball Championship, which was not enough for automatic qualification, and was forced to participate in the pre-Olympic qualification tournament. Third place in this tournament provided the Taiwan national team ticket to the Olympics. This will be the third participation of the Taiwan baseball team in the Olympic Games; at the first baseball games in 1992, the Taiwan national team won the silver medal.
Cycling
Taiwanese cyclist Feng Chunkai participated in the Olympic cycling race at the personal invitation of the International Cyclists Union. An invitation was sent to the athlete for his outstanding services in cycling. Feng Chunkai is the 2007 Asian champion. [one]
Judo
Based on the results of qualification competitions, Taiwan put up two participants - in the weight categories up to 52 kg and up to 63 kg in the women's competitions.
Table Tennis
