Kamenetz is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Elninsky district . As of 2007 , there is no permanent population [1] . It is located in the southeastern part of the region, 23 km southeast of the city of Yelnya , on the highway P96 Novoaleksandrovsky (A101) - Spas-Demensk - Yelnya - Pochinok , 10 km west of the border with the Kaluga region . 6.5 km north-east of the village is the Terenino railway station on the Smolensk - Sukhinichi line . It is part of the Tereninsky rural settlement.
