The children's railway in Irkutsk was designed in February 1937 and opened on November 8, 1939 . The DSB was located on the outskirts of Irkutsk Worker and was 1 km long . In 1992, the DSB was moved to the islands of Yunosti and Konnyy, and 10 years later, in 2002, the first stage of the station complex was introduced at Solnechnaya station (the only one at that time after transfer) - training classes, a library , and a museum of the history of Russian railways . In 2003, another 2 stations were put into operation - Rodniki and Angara .
