Content
History
The children's railway in Irkutsk was designed in February 1937 and opened on November 8, 1939 . The DSB was located on the outskirts of Irkutsk Worker and was 1 km long . In 1992, the DSB was moved to the islands of Yunosti and Konnyy, and 10 years later, in 2002, the first stage of the station complex was introduced at Solnechnaya station (the only one at that time after transfer) - training classes, a library , and a museum of the history of Russian railways . In 2003, another 2 stations were put into operation - Rodniki and Angara . At the same time, the children's railway was named after George Ignatievich Tetersky , an honorary railroad worker , head of the united East-Siberian and Krasnoyarsk railways from 1968 to 1979 .
Rolling Stock
Irkutsk Railways has 4 diesel locomotives : TU2K -228, TU2 K-053, TU7 -2925, TU10 -016 (arrived in December 2012 [1] ); 14 cars PV40 ; 2 cars Pafawag (both decommissioned). In 2007, the diesel locomotive TU2 -228 was modernized at the Slyudyanka depot . Later, in 2008, a diesel locomotive TU2-053 was sent to the same depot for modernization.
Track Development
DZHD has 3 stations : "Solar" (3 ways), "Angara" (2 ways), "Springs" (3 ways). The station "Solnechnaya" is the main one, there are a train station and educational buildings on it. Station "Angara" and "Springs" have platforms, but there are no stops for them.
Manual
Valentin Ivanovich Krasyukov, who led this institution for many years, left the post of head of the Children's Railway. Since 2011, Korshunov Alexander Alexandrovich became the head of the East-Siberian Children's Railway of the East-Siberian Railroad of the Russian Railways branch.
