The village is located 277 km south-west of the administrative center of the region of Koyaike and 99 km south-west of the administrative center of the province of Cochrane .

The commune borders:

  • in the north - with the commune of Aisen
  • in the east - with the communes of Cochrane, O'Higgins
  • in the south - with the commune of Natales

In the west of the commune is the Pacific Ocean .
