Skorbyashenskaya, Olga Adolfovna

Olga Adorpovna Skorbyaschenskaya is a Russian music critic and pianist.

She graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory ( 1987 ). Candidate of Art Criticism, Associate Professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Specialist in the performance of piano academic music, especially in the interpretation of the compositions of Frederic Chopin , Carl Maria von Weber and Franz Liszt . Author of the preface to the publication of Liszt’s Twelve Etudes of Transcendental Performance (St. Petersburg: Composer, 2006). He is the author of over a hundred musical critical articles in the Russian periodicals, in the 1990s he is the author of the newspapers Vecherny Peterburg and Kommersant .
