He translated works of Herbert , Kornblat , Heinlein .

The translation of proper names in the novel “Dune” , [2] chosen by Pavel Vyaznikov, caused a number of disputes among fans of science fiction [3] .

In 1992 he received the Smena magazine award for the best translated work of the year ( Paul Gallico , Flowers for Mrs. Harris ).

In 2000, he received the Wanderer Award for translating Frank Herbert's novel Dune .

The author of the story “In the Kingdom of the Far Land” and, under the pseudonym P. Alexandrovich , the cycle of short stories “Nightmares”, which was included in the anthology “Before the World” [4] [5] .
