Location
The village is located on the island of Chiloe , 256 km southeast of the administrative center of the region of Puerto Montt and 107 km southeast of the administrative center of the province of Chaiten .

- in the north - with the commune of Futaleufu
- in the east - with the province of Chubut ( Argentina )
- in the south - with the communes of Sisnes , Lago Verde
- in the west - with the commune of Chaiten
