“Lísten” ( Rus. Listen ) - the song of the American singer Beyonce Knowles . The song was written by Henry Krieger, Scott Cutler, Ann Previn and Beyonce; produced by The Underdogs , Matt Sullivan and Randy Spendlowow in 2006 for the musical “ Dreamgirls ” in which the Beyoncé character Dina Jones sings this song, thereby expressing her independence from the control of herself by her spouse. Columbia Records released Lísten as the lead single from Dreamgirls: Music from the Motion Picture soundtrack compilation for the December 5, 2006 film. Also, the song was included as an additional track in the international version and deluxe edition of her second studio album B'Day . The Spanish version of the song (“Oye”) was included in the mini album Irreemplazable and in the Spanish deluxe edition B'Day .
