Feature
The station was opened on April 28, 1989 in one line with the neighboring Khalglar service station. Located in the center of Ahmedli. The architecture of the station is concise and simple: columns lined with white marble and brown granite, like square minarets, hold the ceiling of the station. The floor of the station is lined with gray granite, along which are stretched two strips of white marble, which intersect at right angles to form rectangles in space between them. Facing the track walls does not go to the ceiling, but to a level just above the train. Two strips of brown granite on the track wall lined with light marble repeat the pattern located on the station floor. It is worth noting that the design of the station with such stripes is very in harmony with the typical "striped" color of subway cars.
The station has no ground lobbies; exits to the city through an underpass.
