Geography of Ukraine

The area of ​​Ukraine within the territorial composition declared by the authorities is 603.549 thousand km² ^[1] , without the territory of Crimea controlled by Russia, it is 576.604 thousand km².

At present, eight impact craters are discovered in Ukraine, resulting from the fall of space bodies. All craters, with the exception of Ilyinetsky, are buried, that is, hidden beneath the thickness of sedimentary rocks, and were established and studied from core cores.
