One of the best Danish footballers in history, one of the leading Serie A footballers from 1948 to 1954 . In 308 matches in the championships of Italy and Denmark, he scored more than 230 goals, including 113 goals in 114 matches for Frem .

After returning from Italy , he served for 2 years as a trainer for the national team of the armed forces. Then he became a playing coach in his native Frem team, and later in the national team of Denmark .

Then he worked as a manager at Carlsberg and Coca-Cola . And in 1984 he received the Order of Merit for the Italian Republic , due to the popularization of Italian football in his native Denmark.

In 1990, Jon died suddenly at the age of 65 due to a blood clot .
