Daniel "Dani" Sardo Castillo ( Spanish: Daniel Sordo Castillo , born May 2, 1983 , Torrelavega , Cantabria ) - Spanish race car driver , participant in the World Rally Championship . Career
Sordo first took part in WRC competitions in 2003 : at the wheel of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII in the Catalunya Rally, he finished in 18th place overall. In 2004, he became the winner of the Spanish Junior Championship. In 2005 , having won four victories, the Spaniard won the World Junior Rally Championship, and later, in the same year, he excelled in the Spanish Championship.
In 2006, the pilot transferred to the WRC team Citroën . As a result, he finished the season in 5th place in the overall standings, finishing four times on the podium. At the first rally of the 2007 season - Monte Carlo Rally - Sordo took second place. During the year he finished 6 more times on the podium, and as a result, gaining 65 points, took fourth place in the championship. In 2008, Sordo continued to play for Citroën.
