Born in Russia , Odessa . Before her marriage, her name was Rebecca Fusfeld, in the USA she emigrated when she was fifteen years old. From a young age, she played on the theater stage, including with such actors as Jacob Adler , Boris Tomashevsky , Berta Kalisz , Molly Picon .
Her career as a film actress included such films as Breaking Home Ties (1922), Uncle Moses (1932), Two Sisters (1938), Tevye (1939), and Three Daughters (1949). R. Weintraub died in the hospital in 1952, being the widow of the Sigmund Weintraub Jewish Theater Actors Manager. She resided at 340 East Fifteenth Street in New York .
