
L-1 - light protective suit, designed to be used as a universal special clothing of personnel, when protecting human skin, clothes and shoes, from the effects of solid, liquid, drip-aerosol toxic substances , mists, aerosols, harmful biological factors and radioactive dust . It is used on the ground contaminated with toxic and chemically hazardous substances in the chemical industry , when performing degassing , decontamination and disinfection works. The suit is insulating.
In military jargon, the protective suit “L-1” can sometimes be called Elka or Aladdin .

Application
Costume "L-1" is used in conjunction with the means of individual respiratory protection (RPE).
The use of a suit should be carried out strictly in accordance with its purpose, with known compositions of hazardous substances that have a harmful effect on the human body. It is not allowed to use the suit with an unknown composition of polluting substances.
The temperature range of use of the suit "L-1" from -40 ° C to +36 ° C, while working in a suit is consistent with the standards of the Labor Code. Suit “L-1” is not intended for work carried out during fires .
When infected, the suit is processed. Can be used repeatedly. Costumes produced are subject to military acceptance, packed in boxes of 12 pieces: 4 - 1 size, 6 - 2 and 2 - 3, in every fourth box instead of one first put 4th.
Package
It is made of rubberized fabric UNKL-3 or fabric T-15, and consists of one-piece trousers with stockings, a jacket with a hood and three-toed mittens. On the sleeves of the jacket there are cuffs , tight wrist . Four sizes are made: up to 165 cm, from 166 to 172 cm, from 173 to 178, above 179 cm (4th size one for five boxes). The weight of the suit is 3.2 kg ± 300 g. (depends on fabric of which it is made) .
