Story
The main character is Nidi ( Amanda Seyfried ), a resident of a small American town, a gray mouse at school and does not shine with beauty. She has a best friend Jennifer ( Megan Fox ) - the most beautiful and coveted girl in school, the captain of the support group team. Needy is dating a guy named Chip ( Johnny Simmons ). One fine day, friends are going to go to a concert of a rock band in a local bar. In this bar, a fire occurs (the initiator of which was the capital's indie rock group) and 8 people die. Jennifer and Needy are saved. Among the survivors were all the guys from the rock band who took Jennifer with them.
On the same night after the incident in the bar, Jennifer comes to Nidi's house and behaves very strange. She attacks Nidi, she has hunger, she vomits with some black liquid, after which she leaves.
Jennifer turns into a cannibal demon, she lures classmates into traps and devours them. The reason for this was the girl’s sacrifice, which was performed by rockers who played in the bar. They mistook Jen for a virgin and stabbed her, but since she was not a virgin, a demon entered her. To maintain power, this demon needs human flesh. Needy finds out about this and tries to stop her friend when she lures Chip into a trap. But nothing comes of Nidi, Chip dies from the bites of Jennifer. Needy decides to avenge her friend for the boyfriend’s death and comes to Jen’s home to kill her.
Needy mortally wounds her friend with a clerical knife, but here her mother enters Jennifer’s room. Nidi sent to a psychiatric hospital for criminals. But she gains supernatural powers after the bite of Jennifer.
Nidi escapes from a psychiatric hospital, hitchhikes to the hotel, where the same rock group stopped and kills all its members, thus avenging himself, his boyfriend and girlfriend.

Deleted Scenes
- Nidi meets the group: Nidi, after Chip’s murder, returns to the ball all dirty and in blood, comes to the stage where the group performs and asks to sing another song, they quickly leave, and Nidi faints.
- Payment for the trip: Nidi stops the car, and the driver asks what she will pay: drugs, money or body. Needy says she has no drugs, no money either.

The film received mixed reviews from film critics. On the Rotten Tomatoes website , the film is rated 44% based on 198 reviews with an average rating of 5.2 out of 10 [2] . On the Metacritic website , the film has a rating of 47 out of 100 based on 29 reviews from critics, which corresponds to the status of “mixed or average reviews” [3] . On the CinemaScore website, viewers rated the film C on a scale of A + to F [4] .
Film critic Roger Ebert liked the film, he called it “Twilight for Boys” and said that “like a film about the cannibal cheerleader, he is better than it should be.” Ebert said that inside Cody is “the soul of the artist, and her script brings a certain edge to this material, a kind of joy that is uncompromising. This is not a horror thriller on the assembly line for teenagers. " In addition, he praised the Fox game. He gave the film three of four stars. [5]
