Bystryakov, Vladimir Yuryevich

As a child, Vladimir Bystryakov already showed composer abilities. Before he was even ten years old, he wrote simple songs to the words of S. Marshak and other children's poets. ^[3] He studied at the music school named after N. Lysenko . ^[4] In 1972 he graduated from the Kiev Conservatory . Shortly before graduation he took part in the International Competition in Hradec Králové and won the first prize there. This victory opened his way to the stage. ^[3] In 1972–1992 , he worked as a pianist of the Kiev Philharmonic and performed piano concerts. His repertoire included works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Chopin, and Ravel.

In 1978, Bystyryakov made his debut as a professional composer - his song “Hello, my morning” performed by Alla Kudlai sounded on the radio, and then a whole number (more than a dozen) of songs in the musical TV movie “ Fairy Tale as a Fairy Tale ” performed by Lyudmila Grimalskaya and VIA “ Malvy. ^[4] Today, Bystrykov is the author of music for more than 20 films and 36 cartoons, ^{[5] the} author of pop songs, instrumental plays, music for dramatic performances. ^[6] The first popularity came to Bystryakov after in 1982 Valery Leontyev sang his song “Where did the circus go?” ^[7] (this song later also entered the repertoire of Alla Pugacheva ). ^[4] In total, Leontyev’s repertoire in those years contained 27 songs by Vladimir Bystryakov. ^[eight]

Currently he works a lot with young performers, is a member of the jury of numerous song contests and festivals, a permanent member of the television club of anecdotes “Golden gander”, the program “Visiting Vova” and the program “At the corner of Khreshchatyk and Deribasovskaya”. ^[6] Conducts an extensive concert activity as a leader and performer of his own songs, directs the Altana female vocal group created by him. ^{[1] The} popular song “Lady Hamilton”, written by Vladimir Bystryakov to the poems of the famous poet Alexander Vrataryov and included in the repertoire of George Melsky, Alexander Malinin and Nikolay Karachentsov, was recognized in 1993 as the best song of the year. ^[15]

In 2014, together with his wife Olga, he founded the school-studio “Olga and Vladimir Bystryakovs Theater of Songs”, where children, apart from vocals, learn acting skills and dance.
