Church
In the patriarchal salary books under 1628 it says “the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the smaller Brembol ... give two altyns, two money, ten-hryvnia hryvnia”. In 1703, another church was built under it, warm, - St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1766, instead of two wooden ones, a new church was built, the wooden one, and consecrated also in the name of Nicholas the Wonderworker; the bell tower was over a meal. In 1842, instead of the wooden church, the present stone church was built, there are two thrones in it: in the cold - the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, in the warm aisle - St. Nicholas the Wonderworker [2] .
The parish consisted of s. Malaya Brembola and der. Ponomarevki (a mile from the church). According to census books of 1678, the village of Ponomarevka was listed by Prince Yuri Nikitich Baryatinsky; in the village there was a landowner’s yard, a peasant’s yard, 4 bobyl and 1 empty; male population of 27 people. The parish also included the village of Skulino (2 versts from the church).
According to the clearing records of the 1890s. there were 143 male and 144 female souls in the parish, all Orthodox. To the Malo-Brembolsky parish, along with the Bolshe-Brembolsky parish, another church in the village was assigned. Vorontsov. There were two literacy schools in Malo Brembolskom parish; students in 1893 - in one 11, in the other 2. In 1849, in a. Malaya Brembola was appointed to graduate from Vladimir Seminary in 1848, ordained priest Peter Ilyich Lyubimov. Since 1882, the priest of the church with.
