Story
Frank Louis Beecham was sentenced to death for killing a pregnant woman in a supermarket. He spent 7 years in jail and soon he should be executed with the help of “ lethal injection ”.
The journalist Michelle Ziegler, who wrote articles about Frank in the newspaper, drank a lot the day before the execution, lost control and died in a car accident.
Life-reporter Steve Everett at first glance does not cause sympathy. He is a drunkard, a womanizer, swearing, not too caring father. However, when Steve realizes that the young guy, who should be executed in 12 hours, is not to blame, he does not hesitate to take risks to prevent this crime.
