Gothic Kabbalah (from English - " Gothic Kabbalah ") - the thirteenth studio album of the Swedish rock band Therion , released in 2007 . The album was released on two discs due to the large amount of material.

The song “Son of the Staves of Time” was made a video clip published on YouTube [13] . The song "Wand of Abaris" was released as a separate single.
Style and concept
Unlike the previous albums, on which the music was completely written by the band’s founder and guitarist Christopher Jonson , all band members had a hand in songwriting on Gothic Kabbalah : brothers Christian and Johan Niemanni, drummer Peter Carlson, vocalists Mats Leven and Snowy Show . This led to a noticeable difference in style from previous works towards weighting: some songs on the album more closely resemble progressive metal and classical heavy metal than typical for a symphonic metal band.
The lyrics were written by a permanent poet of the group, Thomas Carlson. Unlike Sirius B and Lemuria albums, the emphasis was not on mythology, but on medieval mystical teachings and secret alchemy . The basis for the concept was the works of the 17th century Swedish esotericist Johann Bureus.
