Lube

The idea of ​​creating the Lyube group belongs to the producer and composer Igor Matvienko , who worked at that time in the Record popular music studio. In 1987, it was in his head that the idea of ​​creating a new group was born, which was different from the usual Soviet stage of the late period. As a result, a musical group was created, the work of which is close to the national-patriotic direction, with elements of folklore, military themes, art song and lyric works. The songs are vocal, with frequent use of backing vocalists for backing songs, in some cases with detailed choral parts. The musical accompaniment relied on rock music, with the addition of elements from a Russian folk song, and later an author’s song.

1989

Initially, Igor Matvienko and poet Alexander Shaganov developed a concept, wrote poems and music for the songs. The role of the vocalist and leader of the group was assumed by Nikolai Rastorguev , who was constantly in touch with Igor Matvienko . And later at concerts, he began to play first on the acoustic, and then on the electric guitar. It remained to find musicians corresponding to the developed image. Rastorguev at that time had many years of experience working in the groups “ Leisya, song ”, “ Six young ”, “ Rondo ” and “ Hello, song ”, whose artistic director was Igor Matvienko (some songs from the repertoire of the ensemble “ Hello, song” "Entered the first album of the Lube group).

A historical acquaintance occurred when Rastorguev , who had experience working in the VIA Six Young , Leysya Song and the Rondo band, came to an audition on Hello Song . “Then it was fashionable, ” says Igor Matvienko , “ so that there would be several soloists in the group, and the staff would allow it.” After Sergey Mazaev left the team, we began to look for a replacement for him. Among others, a young well-fed man named Nikolai Rastorguev came in, who apparently didn’t fit into the format of the rock band. The genre demanded thin, emaciated musicians, and here such a strong guy ... However, he learned songs from the “ Hello, song ” repertoire and came to the second audition. For some reason I was opposed to him. Seeing this, Nikolai, of course, was upset and surprised: how is it that he learned songs, sang well, but they don’t take them to the collective? He sang really brilliantly. As a result, Kolya convinced me that he was simply necessary for the group, and he turned out to be right. By the way, the songs “Uncle Vasya” and “Aunt Doctor” from the “ Hello, song ” repertoire performed by Rastorguev were included in the first disc “Lube”. Nicholas proved that he is an artist of the highest class. There is no doubt about it. ” ^[16] .

Recording of the first songs began on January 14, 1989 at the Sound studio (directed by Andrey Lukinov). Nikolai Rastorguev took part in the work as a vocalist, Mirage band guitarist Alexei Gorbashov , another guitarist, residence and conviction Lyuberchik Viktor Zastrov, tenor Anatoly Kuleshov and bass Alexei Tarasov were invited to record the choir, as well as Igor Matvienko himself as a composer , arranger and artistic director. From that moment, it was decided to keep the chronology and consider this date the official birthday of Lube. The name was coined by Nikolai Rastorguev for the group: the word “lube” has been familiar to him since childhood, it comes from the Ukrainian word “love” and in youth slang it means “any, every, different” indicating that the collective in its work is oriented towards different genres and sings for everyone ^[17] .

The lyrics for the debut works of Lube were written by the poet Alexander Shaganov, who proved himself to work with the rock group Black Coffee (song Vladimir Russia ) and Dmitry Malikov (song Tomorrow Tomorrow ), as well as poet from Tomsk Mikhail Andreev, He wrote for the Matvienkov group “ Class ” and the Leningrad group “ Forum ”. The first recorded songs were Lyubertsy and Old Man Makhno . Later, other songs that became popular over time were recorded: “ Dusya-aggregate ” , “ Atas ” , “ Do not kill, men ” , etc. ^[18]

The first tour of the Lube began in late March 1989. To them, with his program, joined the soloist of the group "Class" Oleg Katsura. Concerts were held in Pyatigorsk and Zheleznovodsk. The first concerts did not bring success and were held in empty halls. The concert composition of the group was as follows: Nikolai Rastorguev - vocals, Alexander Nikolaev - bass, Vyacheslav Tereshonok - guitar, Rinat Bakhteev - drums, Alexander Davydov - keyboards. True, in such a composition the group did not last long and a year later there was a change of musicians.

In December 1989, an invitation was received to speak in Alla Pugacheva’s “ Christmas Meetings ”. The stage image of the lead singer of the group Nikolai Rastorguev also relates to participation in this concert - a military uniform of the sample of 1939, rented at the theater of the Soviet Army for the performance of the songs "Atas" and "Do not kill, men." The idea belongs to Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, she once said at a rehearsal: “What did they wear after the war? Zheglov, Sharapov ... gymnasts, boots. ” The form came to face Rastorguev and corresponded to the theme of the songs. Many then considered the Lyube soloist a retired military; in fact, he did not even serve in the army. The form itself has changed over time: the usual officer belt, in which there was a first performance, was replaced by a belt with a five-pointed star in the form of the emblem of the Red Army, and even later a breastplate appeared with the inscription "Lube" against the background of the national flag of Russia. ^[20]

1990

In 1990, a magnetic album was released with the first songs of the group entitled “We Will Live Now a New Way or Rock Ebout of Lyubertsy”, which became the prototype of the first album, which will later be included in the official discography of “Lyube”.

" - Hello friends! My name is Nikolai Rastorguev, I am a soloist of the Lube group, now you will hear the first album of our group ... ” - with these words Rastorgueva begins a magnetic album , which included the first songs, between which sound tracks (intro) with information about the group were placed as small inserts , authors, recording studios. With the release of these first Lyube songs, Igor Matvienko founds his own production center, on behalf of which all the composer's products will now be produced, Lyube became the first collective of this center.

In the same year, there is a change of musicians in the group: the place for percussion instruments took Yuri Ripyakh, for keyboards - Vitaly Loktev. Alexander Weinberg is invited as another guitarist.

The first year of Lube creative activity was marked by the release of musicians on the stage, the appearance on television and the distribution of songs in kiosks selling sound recordings. The team became recognizable, performed in programs and programs broadcast throughout the country: “ What, Where, When ,” “ Christmas Meetings ” by Alla Pugacheva , the group became the laureate of the annual song contest “ Song of the Year ”, (in 1990, “Lube” became finalists contest with the song "Atas" ). ^[22]

1991

In 1991, a LP (LP) was released with the debut album "Atas", the songs of which: "Old Man Makhno" , "Station Taganskaya" , "Do not kill, men" , "Atas" , "Lyubertsy" and others were already familiar on television, radio and concerts. The recording was made at the Sound studio and the studio of the Moscow Youth Palace. Due to the technical features, the vinyl medium did not fit the entire album, (only 11 out of 14 songs were included). Later, a CD and an audio cassette with a full-length first album appeared on store shelves.

In the design of the album cover, artist Vladimir Volegov stylized the group as a militarized detachment from the civil war of 1917-1920, moving on a cart with a machine gun in the village, thereby drawing a parallel with the hit of the Old Man Makhno group.

Despite the release of their first official album, the group is recording new songs and is actively touring. Saving studio time, Igor Matvienko records musical parts and arrangements, inviting session musicians, while the group is at concerts.

In March 1991, a series of concerts was held at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex with a program called “All Power Is Lube!” With the support of LIS'S (owner Sergey Lisovsky), which included already popular songs, such as: “Atas " , " Lyubertsy " , " Old Man Makhno " , as well as new, previously not published and not broadcast on radio and television, songs: " Do not play the fool, America " , " The sheepskin coat is rabbit " , " Have mercy, Lord, save us sinners and save us ... ” and others. In support of the program, a video version of the concert of the same name will be released:

A special feature of the recording market of that time was and remains an uncontrolled stream of unlicensed audio products. The Lyube group did not escape this. The first songs of the new planned album were stolen and distributed without permission from Lube on audio media. In order to reduce losses, Igor Matvienko’s HRC releases his own, pilot, version of his second album, “Don't Fool America,” (according to another version, one of the group’s earlier albums was specially given to pirate companies for promotion).

“- A little information for fans, in connection with the release of a pirated album, we are forced to go on the official release of our own version of this album ...” - that’s how the group’s producer Igor Matvienko reports on the opening record of the magneto album .

For the first time, Lube begins filming its official video clip (although clips for the song “Cells” from the debut album and the English-language song “No More Barricades”, which are not included in the official video sequence of the group, have already been shot). The shooting took place in Sochi for the song "Do not play the fool, America . " The technical feature of creating the clip was the introduction of computer graphics with animation elements. Sergey Bazhenov ( BS Graphics ) was responsible for directing, computer graphics, and animation. The artist was Dmitry Venikov. The clip was “drawn” on the paintbox “Paintbox” (the prototype of modern computer graphics programs). The director of the filming was Kirill Kruglyansky (Russian Three Video company). The burned-out Sochi restaurant served as the backdrop for the clip.

The clip was shot for a long time, each frame had to be painted manually. The finished product was shown to the viewer in 1992. Later, the famous music columnist Artemy Troitsky sent a video clip to the international festival “Midem” in Cannes (without notifying the participants of the “Lube”). So, in 1994, the video for the song “Do not play the fool, America” received a special prize “For Humor and the Quality of the Visual Series” (of the 12 members of the jury, only two voted against). According to Jeff Levenson, a columnist for Billboard magazine, at the MIDEM fair, the clip was the subject of heated debate, including lawyers, on whether the clip was an example of comic militarism, veiled propaganda or a skilful parody.

In the group itself, a change of composition takes place. Having decided to take up his own project, namely, a rising star from Minsk Alena Sviridova, Yuri Ripyakh leaves the group, in his place comes drummer of the Gulyai Pole band Alexander Erokhin. Following Ripyakh, temporarily, for family reasons, bass player Alexander Nikolaev left the Lube, Sergey Bashlykov, who has now opened a guitar school in Germany, began to master the bass guitar as part of the group. Through the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, an announcement was made about the recruitment of the choir, so backing vocalists Evgeny Nasibulin and Oleg Zenin appeared in the group.

1992

In 1992, the group released their second album, "Who said we lived badly?"Released back in 1991, the intermediate magnetic album is gaining a full release - previously unreleased songs have been added, and a corporate disk with printing has been released. Work on the album took two years. The recording was made at the recording studios of the Moscow Palace of Youth and the studio of Stas Namin (SNC). Mastering was performed in Germany, in the MSM Munich studio, (directed by Christoph Stickel). Among the most famous songs of the album: “ Come on, Nayarivai ,” “Don't Fool the Fool, America,” “The Hooked Coat,” “Five Tram,” “Old Barin.”

1993—1994

Запись песен для нового альбома продолжалась почти два года. Вся музыка и аранжировки написаны Игорем Матвиенко. Авторами текстов выступили: Александр Шаганов, Михаил Андреев и Владимир Баранов. Для записи музыки были приглашены профессиональные музыканты: гитарист Николай Девлет-Кильдеев (гр." Моральный Кодекс "), барабанщик Александр Косорунин (гр." Неприкасаемые ", « Рондо »). В качестве режиссёра фильма был приглашён Дмитрий Золотухин . Съёмки проводились в 1993 году при участии студии «Контакт», «Мосфильм» и «Центральной киностудии детских и юношеских фильмов им. Горького». На главную роль была приглашена актриса Марина Левтова , а также ряд известных актёров театра и кино. В основу сценария легли новые песни, каждая из которых законченная музыкальная новелла, в которой рассказывается небольшая история. Сюжет фильма достаточно прост: в зону заключения приезжает тележурналист Марина Левтова и берёт интервью у заключённых, охранников, детей из детского дома. Люди рассказывают, вспоминают, и история каждого — это песня. В это же время группа «Любэ» даёт в лагере концерт. Хотя дело происходит в колонии, криминальный момент в картине не доминирует — это, по мнению Игоря Матвиенко, скорее, зона человеческой жизни. «Зона Любэ» — это фильм, сделанный к песням. Одноимённый альбом группы, по своей тематике, глубине и драматизму выходит за привычные рамки, существующие в российском шоу-бизнесе. Серьёзность намерений музыкантов и продюсера коллектива выразилась ещё и в том, что они задержали релиз готового альбома до выхода фильма почти на полтора года, рискнув снизить уровень своей популярности, исполняя старые песни.

Песни альбома отличаются своей разноплановой тематикой: с одной стороны группа продолжает свой стиль характерный для предыдущих альбомов (песни: «Шпарю», «Дорога»), с другой стороны нововведением стали песни в стиле рок-баллад («Луна», «Младшая сестрёнка»). Особенной в репертуаре группы становится песня « Конь ». Записанная без музыкального сопровождения с партиями хора эта песня уже после выхода альбома станет хитом группы, который многими считается народной песней. Видеозапись выступления с песней «Конь» на фестивале «Звёздный Прибой» в 1994 году в Севастополе позже вошла в официальный сборник видеоклипов группы.

1995—1996

Most of the songs on the album were recorded in a combination of folk and modern instruments, which has already become a hallmark of the Lyube songs. The recording used quotes, as well as parts of folk and classical Russian musical works. Some songs were recorded by Nikolai Rastorguev with an ensemble of folk instruments. The album contains two duets: “Chat with me” with Lyudmila Zykina (created by Nikolai Stepanov, the head of the “Russia” ensemble with whom Zykina performed) and a duet with Rolan Bykov - a cover version of the song “Two Comrades Served”. Initially, there were two versions of the album: the version for the audio cassette differs in the arrangement of songs on the cassette and does not contain the track "Orlyata-2", which is present on the CD. The album was designed by DirectDesign, which has been collaborating with Lyube and Igor Matvienko's HRC for several years. The album is designed in a military style with a red star (emblem of the Red Army) on the background of a military uniform, as well as using historical photographs of the Great Patriotic War.

The constant professional composition of the musicians has served to ensure that since that time the band’s concerts are held with live sound. In support of the album, a solo concert was broadcast on television, and there was also a performance at the "Slavic Bazaar" in Vitebsk, at the same festival Nikolai Rastorguev in a duet with Lyudmila Zykina performed the song "Chat with me." Concerts with live performance, which was a rarity of that time, did not go unnoticed by musical criticism (in particular, by the journalists of the Shark of Pera program). The contents of this album turned out to be in tune with the mood of Russian society, which survived the war in the Caucasus. The song “Combat” confidently took the first lines of Russian charts, and the album itself was awarded the best album of 1996 in Russia.

Along with the album "Combat" Nikolai Rastorguev is recording a solo album with the songs of the British band "The Beatles". This became a long-standing dream of Rastorguev. The album entitled "Four Nights in Moscow" was released in a limited edition in 1996. A characteristic feature of the album is the recording of songs in the style of "close to the text" repeating the original edition of "The Beatles". The album was attended by musicians of the Lube group, as well as a string quartet for recording some parts. Igor Matvienko was one of the recording musicians, and Nikolai Rastorguev himself became the producer of the album.

In 1995, backing vocalist Evgeny Nasibulin left the band (he is also a guitarist in the film “Lube Zone”). He went to work in the Choir named after Pyatnitsky. A year later, on August 7, 1996, bass guitarist Alexander Nikolaev, who had been working in the group from the day of foundation, was killed in a car accident; Andrei Danilin came to his place (he worked at the Leisya Pesnya VIA, with Vladimir Markin), some time later, in 1997 year, he was replaced by Pavel Usanov.

1997-1998

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation (No. 1868) dated April 16, 1997, “For Services to the State, Great Contribution to Strengthening Friendship between Peoples, Long-Term Fruitful Activities in the Field of Culture and Art,” Rastorguev Nikolay Vyacheslavovich was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

In the spring of the same year, an intermediate collection of the best songs, “Lube,” “Collected Works 1989-1997,” was released. This collection includes the best songs of the group for 8 years, a cover version of the song “ Song of a friend ” (from the movie “ The Way to the Pier ”) and the new song “Guys from Our Yard” from the upcoming album, which was performed at a recital groups dedicated to Victory Day (the concert was broadcast on television).

December 5, 1997 released a new album, "Songs of People." The video for the first song of the album “There, Behind the Fogs” was directed by Oleg Gusev and cameraman Max Osadchim, which first appeared on the air in November of that year. The best songs of the album were: “Behind the Fogs,” “Years,” “Starlings.” The song “Isho” was presented at Alla Pugacheva’s Christmas meetings in 1998, and the previously recorded song “Guys from Our Yard” was slightly changed during the recording of the album and two video clips were shot on it right away (the first is a chronicle of Moscow of the 60-70s. , the second was shot in 1998 by director Artyom Mikhalkov). Continuing cooperation with Lyudmila Zykina, the famous song “The Volga River Flows” was recorded for the album, accompanied by the state ensemble “Russia” under the direction of N. N. Stepanov. Musicians such as guitarist N. Devlet-Kildeev and drummer A. Kosorunin were invited as sessional ones. The recording was made at several studios: Lube, Mosfilm, Ostankino and Igor Matvienko's HRC. In terms of style, lyrics, and sound, the album is designed in a calm manner of performance, with lyrical songs, without songs that are inherent in early albums and harsh in nature. These are songs about human relationships: happiness and unhappiness, sadness and slight nostalgia for the past time. They did not leave indifferent the majority of those to whom these songs are dedicated - ordinary people. The simplicity of the songs is emphasized by the design of the album's booklet, in which photographs of the Lube group traveling in a train car around the country, like most ordinary people, were used. ^[24]

In early 1998, in support of the album "Songs about People", the group went on a concert tour of the cities of Russia and abroad. The sponsor of the tour was the Peter the Great brand. The multi-day tour ended with a concert at the Pushkin Concert Hall on February 24, 1998. The video and audio version of this performance was released on two CDs, audio and video cassettes in the spring of 1998 under the title “Songs from the concert program“ Songs about People. ” Yuri Rymanov , who worked with Rastorguev earlier, played the guitarist in the ensembles “Six Young” and “Love the Song.” From that time he was included in the group.

In January 1998, Lube took part in a concert dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Vysotsky. At this concert, the group performed two songs: “On Mass Graves” and “Song of the Stars” which will later be included in various collections of the group. Also, Nikolai Rastorguev took part in the recording of the song “Borders” (authors: E. Krylatov and A. Pankratov-Cherny) from the movie “Hot Spot” and the cover version of the song “There is only a moment” (authors: A. Zatsepin and L Derbenev) from the film "Sannikov Land" to the musical film "Old Songs about the Main - 3". Separate was the group’s work in recording songs for the musical film “On a Lively Place” (based on a play by A. Ostrovsky). Lube performed the title song of the movie Harness, and Nikolai Rastorguev himself played the main role in the film. At the end of the year at the annual festival “Song of the Year” a song was presented in a duet with S. Rotaru - “Zasentyabrilo” (authors: V. Matetskiy and E. Nebylova).

1999-2000

In 1999, the Lube group is preparing to celebrate its tenth anniversary. It is planned to devote a number of performances and a new album to this event. In autumn, with the assistance of the Tavrian Games creative and legal association, an anniversary tour “Lube - 10 years!” Is organized around the cities of Ukraine with the “ Brothers Karamazov ” group in support of the “Choose your Future!” Campaign by President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma . In September of the same year, the song "Half-Station" was introduced, which later became the title page for the new album dedicated to the 10th anniversary.

The album was released on May 10, 2000 and turned out to be diverse, most of the songs are hits. The number of songs coincides with the anniversary date: ten years - ten songs, and on May 13 a solo concert was held in Moscow, in the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, dedicated to the band’s tenth anniversary, featuring songs from the new album and the best songs in 10 years (30 songs were played) . The concert lasted more than 2.5 hours.

By the textual and musical set, all the songs are recognizable, in the Lube style. As an innovation for the group’s repertoire, the use of wind instruments in recording songs began; for this, a wind group was assembled (the same group was used in the anniversary concert). The well-known accordionist Evgeny Baskakov and other musicians also participated in the recording. The recording was made at the Mosfilm studio. A video with a chronicle of wars of different years was shot for the song “Soldier”. Later, for this song, “Lube” will receive a prize as one of the best songs of 2000, at the Golden Gramophone award ceremony. The prize was awarded at that time by the commander of the 58th army, Vladimir Shamanov . A video was also shot for the song “Break through (Opera)” which became the soundtrack and commercial for the series “Deadly Force”. For the first time, the Igor Matvienko Production Center will introduce a combined digital recording system in the Russian audio production market. The album, video clip and album information in digital form will be recorded on the CD. The design of the album is presented in the form of newspaper strips with information about the group, recordings and interviews of band members. At the same time, the group has an information page on the Internet on the website of the Production Center Igor Matvienko.

In 2000, guitarist Alexei Khokhlov (previously worked in the Rondo group) joined the group, he replaced Yu. Rymanov, who had temporarily left the group.

2001-2002

Of the highlights of the group’s 2001, it is worth noting the live concert “Lube” on Red Square, which took place on May 9 Victory Day. In addition, on November 8, 2001, President Vladimir V. Putin signed a decree “On the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Culture and Art”, in which he appointed Nikolai Rastorguev as one of the cultural advisers. In the same year, for the documentary film “Russian Army”, television producers from the UK bought rights from the group to excerpts from the songs “Soon the demobilization” and “Combat”. The film "Russian Army" some time after the filming was aired on the 4th channel of English TV.

On November 1, 2001, the collection “Collected Works. Volume 2 ". It included songs that were not included in the first disc of the “Collected Works”, as well as new songs: “You carry me, river” from the movie “Border. Taiga novel ”(dir. A. Mitt) and V. Vysotsky’s song“ Song of the Stars ”. Now fans have the opportunity to put on their shelf the second volume of “Collected Works”.

On February 23, 2002, for the first time, a song was played on the air and a video was shown for the song “Come on ...” written by Igor Matvienko (for the first time for “Lyube” he simultaneously acted as the author of music and text). The song was recorded in the style of a rhymed narrative of the history of Russian wars of different years with a vocal background similar to radio broadcast, it was immediately perceived by the public, took the first lines of the charts and, as a result, became the best song of the year. The album of the same name, “Come on ...” was released in March 2002, and on March 18, 19, and 20, the band performed in the State Central Concert Hall “Russia” with a new program. The album was recorded in the retro style of the 1960-1970s and was divided into two parts: the first "village" - the main songs: "Birches", "Mowing", "You carry me, the river", the second "city" with typical style songs those years: “Two girlfriends”, “Guitar sings”. To approximate the sound to the retrospective, vintage guitars, microphones, an electric organ were used, and for information, the MCI remote control was specially purchased in the 1970s. Partially, the recording was made in the old Mosfilm tone studio (a characteristic orientation to past films). It turned out pop rock, which was widely used by Soviet VIA. To record the parties of folk instruments was invited to the ensemble "Russia" n / a N. N. Stepanova. The album also contains the romance “It was, was” to N. Gumilyov’s verses and the song “Grandmother” recorded with the VGTRK children's choir. Songs, sound style, album cover art - all pointed to “leaving in retro”.

In October 2002, the Lube soloist Nikolai Rastorguev was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. One of the first was a congratulation from Joseph Kobzon, who wrote in a telegram: “Nikolay, you have become popular a long time ago. Thanks to the President and the Government that they recognized you officially as a people! ” October 22, 2002 the collection “Anniversary. Best Songs ”, a live album on two discs. All the songs were recorded at a “live” concert in the Olimpiysky Sports Complex in May 2000 and two songs “Come on for ...” and “You Carry Me River” were added in live performance from a solo concert in March 2002. With the release of this album, guitarist Sergei Pereguda leaves the group for several years, he leaves for Canada, Yuri Rymanov returns to the group as a guitarist. ^[16] .

2003-2005

In 2003, the Lyube group participated in the election campaign of the Rodina bloc during this period by Nikolai Rastorguev for the series Plot, the previously performed song Birch was recorded in a duet with Sergei Bezrukov .

At the V ceremony of presenting the Record 2003 Russian Recording Industry Award in November 2003, the album “Let's Be For ...” was recognized as the “Album of the Year”, which remained at the top of the sales charts for almost the entire year 2002. ^[25]

In 2004, the Lube group celebrates 15 years since its foundation. As part of the anniversary, two albums are planned to be released and a series of concerts will be held, the first of which will be dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. The first album was a collection of the best military songs “Guys of Our Regiment”, released by February 23, 2004, in which the best songs of the group on military subjects were collected. The title song was presented on the poems of O. Mars "Meadow Grass". The collection included songs “Lube” on military subjects, songs about the war of various authors and performers, the song “Birches” in a duet with S. Bezrukov was recorded as a bonus. As a bonus video, the studio version of the “Come on ...” video was presented. For the album, photos were taken of fighters of one of the units of the Russian Army made for the magazine “Russian Look” (photographer Vladimir Vyatkin). Later, the servicemen recognized themselves on the covers of the album and spoke about this fact at the Lube concert.

В этом же году музыкантам группы «Любэ» Анатолию Кулешову (хормейстер и бэк-вокалист), Виталию Локтеву (клавишник и баянист) и Александру Ерохину (барабанщик) были присвоены звания Заслуженных артистов Российской Федерации.

В качестве второго альбома в рамках юбилейной программы стал выпуск альбома «Рассея» с новыми песнями. Релиз состоялся 15 февраля 2005. Музыку для альбома написал композитор Игорь Матвиенко. Авторы большинства текстов песен — поэты Александр Шаганов, Михаил Андреев, Павел Жагун. Основными песнями альбома стали заглавная «Рассея» и «Не смотри на часы». Стилистика альбома выдержана в историческом хронометраже. «Любэ» традиционно поднимают историческую тематику страны разных эпох, это выражено даже в оформлении диска — обложка представляет собой историческую карту Российской Империи. На диске представлены дуэты Николая Расторгуева с Никитой Михалковым (песня «Мой конь»), ранее исполненная песня «Берёзы» с Сергеем Безруковым, записанная к 30-летию специального подразделения «Альфа» совместно с офицерами этой группы песня «По высокой траве» и песня «Ясный сокол», которую группа «Любэ» записала с Сергеем Мазаевым и Николаем Фоменко. Также в альбом были включены: кавер-версия раннего хита группы — «Батька Махно», песня «Сестра» неизвестного автора времен 1-й мировой войны и «Гимн России» в рок-обработке. В качестве бонус-видео на диске были представлены клипы на песни: «Берёзы» и «По высокой траве». ^[26]

С выходом альбома был проведена серия концертов в ГЦКЗ «Россия». В концерте помимо новых и старых известных песен было множество дуэтных композиций с Сергеем Мазаевым и Николаем Фоменко , Никитой Михалковым , группой « Иванушки International », офицерами группы «Альфа», ансамблем « Белорусские песняры ». А песню «Ты неси меня, река (Краса)» вместе с солистом «Любэ» исполнил композитор и художественный руководитель коллектива — Игорь Матвиенко.

2006—2009

По данным исследовательского холдинга ROMIR Monitoring на январь 2006 года , 17 % опрошенных назвали «Любэ» лучшей поп-группой ^[27] , второе и третье место заняли группы «Чай вдвоем» и «ВИА Гра». Как выяснилось, творчество группы «Любэ» нравится в основном мужчинам среднего возраста и людям с высоким уровнем дохода. Постепенно корректировалась и направленность музыкального творчества группы, затронувшего в середине 1990-х годов актуальную военную рок-тематику и дворовый шансон, во многом переработавшего традиции советской эстрады.

В конце 2006 года, в канун Нового Года группа «Любэ» представила новую песню «Москвички» которая так же была включена в ряд новогодних программ. С этой песни начинается работа над новым альбомом которая продлится более двух лет.

В 2007 году к 50-летию Николая Расторгуева был проведён концерт в Кремлёвском Дворце Съездов. Была выпущена аудиокнига Любэ «Полное собрание сочинений». Полноформатное издание с историей создания группы, интервью её участников, интересные факты биографии, фотографии и многое другое. В качестве приложения в книгу вошли 8 номерных альбомов группы, таким образом уместив в одном издании все официально изданные песни и всю информацию о «Любэ». Также был выпущен «живой» live-концерт на двух дисках «В России» записанный в 2005 году на сольных концертах в ГЦКЗ «Россия». В качестве бонусов на каждом из дисков были представлены две новые песни: «Москвички» и «Если». В этом же году на двух видео дисках был представлен сборник видеоклипов группы за всю историю и видеозапись юбилейного концерта к 10-летию коллектива 2000 года. Отдельным тиражом вышел сольный альбом Николая Расторгуева с песнями «The Beatles», альбом является переизданием альбома «Четыре ночи в Москве» 1996 года с дополнением треков и получил название «Birthday (With Love)». ^[28]

В ноябре 2008 был выпущен третий том «Собрания сочинений» «Любэ» (первый и второй вышли в 2002 и 2008 гг). В новую пластинку коллектива вошли хиты из альбомов: «Комбат», «Песни о людях», "Давай за., «Рассея». Кроме того, на диске были представлены две новых песни группы записанные в 2008 году — «Заимка» и «Мой адмирал». Песня «Мой адмирал» вошла в саундтрек к фильму «Адмирал» рассказывающему о судьбе адмирала Колчака .

В январе 2009 года группе «Любэ» исполнилось 20 лет. В начале года был анонсирован выход нового альбома посвящённого этому событию. Перед выходом этого альбома из группы уходит гитарист Юрий Рыманов, отработав в «Любэ» 10 лет он решает заняться сольной карьерой, на его место возвращается из Канады Сергей Перегуда.

В феврале, незадолго до премьеры альбома, Николай Расторгуев побывал в пресс-центре «Комсомольской правды»:

Характеризуя альбом, Расторгуев назвал некоторые песни уже хорошо известными радиослушателям, например, «Заимка», «Если…», «Мой адмирал», «Москвички», при этом подчеркнул, что есть и много совершенно новых песен — «Верка», «Свои», «А заря», «Календарь» и другие. Как он сам признался в интервью новгородской газете «Проспект», альбом, по его мнению, получился отличным. Композитор Игорь Матвиенко называет альбом интровертным, личным, ведь многие песни там посвящены любви к женщине. По свидетельству Расторгуева, музыканты записывали «Своих» около года, поэтому у них было достаточно времени для отбора песен, выбора аранжировок и спокойной работы в студии.

В альбоме присутствуют дуэты с Григорием Лепсом, Никитой Михалковым и Викторией Дайнеко , при этом, все дуэтные композиции записаны в альбоме и в сольном исполнении. Запись впервые за всю историю группы производилась только в студии Продюсерского Центра Игоря Матвиенко (за исключением записи ударных инструментов в «Vintage studio»). Также для записи были приглашены известные музыканты как ранее работавшие и так и новые, работающие с ПЦ Игоря Матвиенко. В июле на песню «А заря» был снят видеоклип с участием Дмитрия Дюжева и Сергея Безрукова , а сама песня стала саундтреком к фильму « Каникулы строгого режима ».

22 и 23 февраля 2009 года в Государственном Кремлёвском дворце прошли юбилейные концерты «Любэ. Свои 20 лет». Была представлена новая программа и лучшие песни за 20 лет. Специально для юбилейного концерта были созданы декорации художником-постановщиком Дмитрием Мучником. На сцене были установлены пятиметровые буквы «Любэ» с коллажами из фотографий группы, а фоном для масштабной декорации был огромный экран, на котором транслировались хроники группы, а также различные образы, меняющиеся в зависимости от песни: периодически на экране появлялись то морские волны, то леса, то ретро-фотографии. ^[29] После проведения главного сольного концерта группа отправилась в концертный тур по многочисленным городам на территории России, ближнего и дальнего зарубежья. 19 апреля 2009 года, возвращаясь с пасхальной службы, в автомобильной катастрофе погиб хормейстер и бэк-вокалист группы Анатолий Кулешов, проработавший в «Любэ» 20 лет, со дня основания.

В начале декабря на сайте газеты «Комсомольская правда» было открыто голосование по самым популярным людям года. В нём приняли участие 290802 человека. Читатели «КП» назвали «Любэ» группой года, отдав ей 28 % своих голосов. ^[thirty]

2010—2013

В 2010 году Николай Расторгуев стал депутатом Государственной Думы пятого созыва от Ставропольского края, сменив на этой должности депутата «Единая Россия» Сергея Сметанюка, который был назначен заместителем Полномочного представителя Президента РФ в Уральском федеральном округе. Николай Расторгуев вошёл в состав Комитета Государственной Думы по культуре. В связи с этим группа проводит концерты и является участником акций правящей партии «Единая Россия» и молодёжного движения «Молодая Гвардия» . В этом же году из группы уходит гитарист Алексей Хохлов проработав в «Любэ» 10 лет.

В феврале 2012 прошёл концерт группы «Любэ» в «Crocus Citi Hall» к юбилею Николая Расторгуева (55 лет). В концерте приняли участие звезды эстрады, телевидения и политики. К этой дате был приурочен выход сборника лучших песен группы «Любэ» на двух дисках под названием «55» (в честь даты юбилея). В это же время в состав группы были введены два новых бэк-вокалиста Павел Сучков и Алексей Кантур.

В этом же месяце группой «Любэ» совместно с группами «Корни» и «In2Nation» (все являются проектами ПЦ Игоря Матвиенко) специально для фильма «Август. Восьмого» (режиссёр Джаник Файзиев) была записана песня «Просто любовь». Позже, на неё был снят видеоклип.

19 февраля 2013 года на официальном канале группы была представлена новая песня, исполненная в дуэте Николаем Расторгуевым и Людмилой Соколовой под названием «Долго» (впервые песня прозвучала в 2012 году в проекте Первого канала « Две звезды » в дуэте с Екатериной Гусевой ), а 23 февраля на концертной площадке «Crocus City Hall» прошёл концерт группы «Любэ», на котором музыканты исполнили свои лучшие песни.

2014 — наши дни

В 2014 году группе «Любэ» исполнилось 25 лет.

7 февраля, в день открытия Олимпиады в Сочи, группа «Любэ» представила песню «За тебя, Родина-мать», сообщили InterMedia в пресс-службе коллектива. По словам продюсера группы Игоря Матвиенко, композиция посвящена Олимпийским играм. Патриотичный трек войдёт в новый альбом «Любэ», релиз которого обещан на осень 2014 года ^[31] .

15 марта 2014 года в СК «Олимпийский» прошёл юбилейный концерт, посвящённый 25-летию группы «Любэ» ^[32] (12 июня этого же года в День России вышла телевезионная версия концерта). На следующий день после этого концерта, в связи с выборами в Крыму определяющими государственный статус полуострова, группа «Любэ» дала ещё один концерт в поддержку местного населения в Севастополе.

13 октября 2014 года на официальном видеоканале группы «Любэ» в «YouTube» появился новый видеоклип «Всё зависит от Бога и немного от нас» с кадрами из сериала «Уходящая натура». ^[33]

В ноябре-декабре 2014 года на прошедших концертах в Якутске и Калуге были представлены две новые песни из будущего альбома: «За бортом» и «Восточный фронт».

23 февраля 2015 года вышел новый альбом « За тебя, Родина-мать! » приуроченный к 55-летию композитора и продюсера Игоря Матвиенко и 25-летию группы «Любэ». ^[34] Презентация альбома прошла на сцене « Крокус Сити Холл» в Москве, где группа выступила с концертной программой «Комбат».

20 апреля 2015 года на официальном канале группы в Youtube была представлена песня «А зори здесь тихие» записанная совместно группой «Любэ» и офицерами группы «Альфа». Песня является финальной темой к фильму Рената Давлетьярова « А зори здесь тихие… », новая экранизация одноимённой повести Бориса Васильева снятая в честь 70-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне ^[35] .

Музыку к песне Давлетьяров предложил написать композитору Игорю Матвиенко, автор слов — Михаил Андреев. Матвиенко рассказал, что перед созданием музыки он намеренно отказался от просмотра фильма, чтобы «оставить своё виртуальное восприятие в процессе работы над ней».

Группа «Любэ» и офицеры «Альфы» не случайно исполняют композицию вместе, их связывает давняя дружба и сотрудничество.

5 сентября 2015 года на праздновании дня города Люберцы была открыта скульптура под названием «Ребята с нашего двора» (рабочее название — «Дуся-агрегат») посвящённая группе "«Любэ». Скульптурная композиция расположилась в пешеходной зоне на улице Смирновская, которую также открыли после благоустройства. Композиция изображает девочку, сидящую на лавочке, в культовых вещах конца 1980-х годов — в спортивном костюме и кроссовках фирмы «Adidas». В одной руке у неё гантель, а другая — упирается в колено. Рядом с девушкой стоит 32-килограммовая гиря с надписью «100-пудовый хит», а за спиной девушки стоит молодой человек с гитарой и в клетчатых штанах, похожий на Николая Расторгуева. Памятник планировалось назвать «Дуся-агрегат», как и песню группы, написанную в 1989 году и вошедшую в дебютный альбом. ^[36]

Автор скульптуры Александр Рожников признаётся, что фигуру Дуси лепил с натуры: ему позировала девушка Анна — работница местной городской администрации, а прообразом парня с гитарой стал Николай Расторгуев. Из особенностей скульптуры стоит отметить, что на скамейке написан состав группы «Любэ», как бы вырезанный перочинным ножиком, а на гитаре, что в руках у героя, выгравированы автографы самих музыкантов. В дальнейшем планируется провести освещение к скульптуре и сделать музыкальное сопровождение. На открытии памятника присутствовали жители города, сам скульптор Александр Рожников, поэт Александр Шаганов, а также глава Люберец Владимир Ружицкий, который вручил автору песни «Дуся-агрегат» Александру Шаганову оттиск со скамейки, на которой сидит Дуся. На оттиске написано: «Матвиенко + Расторгуев = Любэ. Шаганов — поэт». ^[37]

19 апреля 2016 года, ровно через 7 лет после гибели Анатолия Кулешова, от черепно-мозговой травмы, полученной при нападении неизвестных 2 апреля того же года, скончался бас-гитарист группы «Любэ» Павел Усанов. Новым бас-гитаристом группы стал Дмитрий Стрельцов, который ранее работал в группе « Моя Мишель ».

В декабре 2018 года в канун нового года вышла новая песня 'Гололёд' которая посвящена памяти Евгения Осина ^[38] . 22 23 и 24 февраля 2019 года у любэ прошли сольники группы в честь 30 летней работай в крокусситихол любэ порадовала своих поклонников, вспомнив такие песни как трамвай пятёрочка не губите мужики и т.д.

В феврале 2019 года состоялась премьера песни и клипа «Километры» при участии Сергея Галанина , Вадима Самойлова и Алексея Филатова. ^[39]

В апреле 2019 года совместно с группой «Фабрика» выпущен клип песни «По мосту» про Крымский мост ^[40] .
