Hutran tempti

Hutrantempti (Khutran-Temtt) - the king of ancient Elam from the Simashka dynasty , who ruled around 2010 - 1990 BC. e.

Although the Sumerian sources do not mention the name of the conquering king, it is apparently Hutran-tempti who took advantage of the unrest in Sumer in 2003 BC. e. made a victorious campaign in Lower Mesopotamia , took the city of Ur and completely looted and destroyed it. The last king from the III dynasty of Ur, Ibbi-Suen, was taken in chains to Anshan . An Elam garrison was stationed in Ur.

In 1996 BC e. King Isin Ishbi-Erra expelled the Elam garrison from Ur and annexed this city to his kingdom. He passed off his daughter for Sukkal Elam Humpansimti (presumably the son or brother of Hutran Tempti), which, however, did not prevent him from defeating Elam the same year.
