Female. Underside of the wings
Males throughout the range are the same in color. Females have a variety of color, imitating, mainly, different types of poisonous butterflies that live in the same places.
SpreadDistributed in New Guinea and Australia .
LifestyleOften found in urban parks and gardens . Flies superbly, able to quickly hide from enemies.
ReproductionCaterpillars develop on microcitrus , halford , micromelon and other ruta plants. Often harm to citrus garden plantings. The color of the pupa depends on the place where the caterpillar pupated: on leaves and stems - green, on old branches - grayish-brown.
