Biography
Born into a Jewish family. He graduated from the 1st Leningrad Medical Institute ( 1956 ). He worked in the hospital. V.I. Lenin and on the "ambulance" in the intensive care unit ( 1956 - 1973 ), published a number of scientific works on cardiology. The first story, Buzhma, was published in the journal Yunost ( 1963 , No. 11). In his scripts, the films “Cases of the Heart” were created ( Mosfilm , 1974 , co-authored with V. Kunin), On the Line Dr. Kulyabkin (Telefilm, 1974 ), and At the End of Summer ( Sverdlovsk Film Studio , 1979 , in et al. G. Ryabkin), “Kindness” ( Gorky Studio , 1979), two-part television shows “The Pain of Others” ( Leningrad Television , 1966 ), “On the Straw Bridge” ( Leningrad Television , 1975). The author of the plays “It was a winter evening” (Sovetsk Theater, 1976 ), “Accelerates” (went to more than thirty theaters, including the Leningrad Academic Comedy Theater , 1980 - 1999 ), “Those who do not like Mozart - do not offer” ( Cheremkhov Drama Theater, 1987 - 1994 ), “Paloomych” (went to ten theaters, including the St. Petersburg Theater “ Baltic House ”, 1992 - 1996 ). After the writer’s death, Tsarskoye Selo magazine No. 2 for 2007 published, found in his archive, the story of the Dyrochkin family - Sana'a, Boris Borisych, Olga Alekseevna, told by Motea, their dog . In the same year, Ivan Krasko , People's Artist of Russia, recorded a cycle of nine programs based on the stories of Semyon Laskin on Radio Petersburg.
