From 1978 to 1982, he was " restricted to travel abroad " because, according to him, "he did not go to the vile anti-Semitic provocation of the State Concert and paid, although he did not imagine that he would be completely deleted from touring life. Only the attachment to my house on Nikolina Gora , my small homeland, saved me from emigration. It was unbearable for me to think that any party official would settle there and stomp his feet on the ground, which I literally put my soul into. ”The intervention of the then Minister of Culture of the USSR P. N. Demichev helped him to become a visiting person again [1] .
From 1993 to 2011 he taught a special piano class at the Moscow Conservatory (professor). Among the students are laureates of international competitions E. Adamova, P. Bespalko, M. Huseynov (Azerbaijan), R. Kudoyarov, P. Trokhopoulos ( Greece ).
