Content
General information
It is located at the mouth of the Tervunyoki River , on the peninsula of the same name on the Tervu Bay of Lake Ladoga .
A very ancient settlement. The name comes from ( fin. Terva ), which translates as resin . An ancient settlement, once there was a resinous production. Nearby were swamp ore deposits .
In the second half of the 20th century, the Ladoga collective farm was organized here.
Currently, the village has mainly the value of a vacation spot.
It is known that in Terv was the church of the Epiphany. In 1999, a worship cross was erected on the site of the church.
