Biography
He started cycling in his native Leningrad , later moved to Spain and played for the iBanesto.com team.
At the Tour de France in 2004, he used his abilities in a separate time trial, at the penultimate stage he beat Thomas FΓΆckler in the fight for the youth classification.
In the 2005 season he was in the top ten general classification for the Giro d'Italia , but failed to build on the success of the Tour de France .
