“Fall” as a reason for symbiosis: aphids produce “fall” for ants that protect aphids from enemies
Copper pad or pad is a sweet liquid secreted by aphids , worms and other insects that feed on plant sap [1] . Appears on the leaves of trees and shrubs, sometimes it drops to the ground with tiny drops.
It contains a large amount of dextrin , gum and some types of sugar, significantly different from cane sugar (for example, mannitol , melitosis ).

Bees, except for nectar, sometimes collect a pad from plants. As a result of processing by bees paddy and honey dew, honeydew is obtained. On average, it contains 37% fructose , 31% glucose , 1-16% sucrose , 3% protein , 11% dextrins .
