The village is located on the northern shore of Lake Piros . From the western part of the River there is another village - Faustovo . The villages are divided by the Saminka River .
History
Until April 2010, it was the administrative center of the Rechensky rural settlement , now abolished.

Transport
Roads to Lykoshino (12 km to the south-west), Borovichi (21 km to the north), as well as to the villages of Knyazha and Molodenovo . The nearest railway station is in Lykoshino .
