Teluga Wikipedia is the first Wikipedia section in the language of South Asia that has crossed the line of 10,000 articles [1] . On December 12, 2006, the number of articles in the Telug section exceeded 25,000.
As of September 25, 2019, the Wikipedia in Telugu language contains 71,255 articles and is in 77th place among all language sections [2] .
