Luke is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Elninsky district . The population is 43 inhabitants. It is located in the southeastern part of the region 18 km south of the town of Yelnya , 3 km east of the P137 Safonovo - Roslavl highway, on the banks of the Desnok river. It is part of the Novospassky rural settlement. Until 1992, there was a narrow gauge railway station in the village

History
February 12, 1942 in the village was formed partisan regiment them. S. Lazo. [1] . Currently, a private sawmill, Novolukinsky Rural Club, is operating in the village of Luki. Residents are mostly pensioners, with the exception of one young family.
