Biography

Born November 9, 1978 in the United States, in Texas. Taekwondo started practicing at the age of five - taking an example from Jean's older brother. Soon, taekwondo began to engage and the younger brother - Mark , and sister - Diana . Considering that the whole family was completely involved in this sport, the father of the “sports clan” decided to equip a training room in their own garage, where classes were held.

Soon, Stephen Lopez achieved good results and began to participate in taekwondo competitions. It is not surprising, because the athlete was perfectly prepared (the brothers trained every day, before going to school, at five in the morning and after - in the evening after class). In 1997, Stephen graduated from Kempner with honors. Stephen was a member of the National Honor Society for some time. The athlete was on the list of the 50 most beautiful people on the planet.

Since 1996, Stephen Lopez (along with his brother Jean) has been a member of the US national team.
